Suitable for induction only.
Course Content
- Explain some of the common causes of fires and the areas most at risk within the home.
- Explain the fire triangle and how fires spread.
- Explain what to do on discovering a fire and what to do on hearing the fire alarm.
- Highlight the fire safety equipment within the home, including fire doors, extinguishers and evacuation equipment.
Course Materials
- All those completing the course will be issued with a Certificate.
- A full set of Course Notes will be issued to the Manager of those attending.

Suitable for induction only.
Course Content
- Explain some of the common causes of fires and the areas most at risk within the home.
- Explain the fire triangle and how fires spread.
- Explain what to do on discovering a fire and what to do on hearing the fire alarm.
- Explain both horizontal and total evacuation.
- Highlight the fire safety equipment within the home, including fire doors, extinguishers and evacuation equipment.
- Practically demonstrate the use of Fire Evacuation equipment.
- Practical evacuation.

- All those completing the course will be issued with a Certificate.
- A full set of Course Notes will be issued to the Manager of those attending.
Notes
This course will not cover fire extinguisher training. A separate course can be arranged for specialist instruction.
For specialist training on extinguisher use, evacuation, smoke or more in depth training we recommend to use a Fire Officer Specialist Trainer.
