Course Content

• Explain some of the common causes of fires and the areas most at risk within the home.
• Explain the fire triangle and how fires spread.
• Explain what to do on discovering a fire and what to do on hearing the fire alarm.
• Highlight the fire safety equipment within the home, including fire doors, extinguishers and evacuation equipment.

Course Materials

• All those completing the course will be issued with a Certificate.
• A full set of Course Notes will be issued to the Manager of those attending.

• Explain both horizontal and total evacuation.
• Highlight the fire safety equipment within the home, including fire doors, extinguishers and evacuation equipment.
• Practically demonstrate the use of Fire Evacuation equipment.
• Practical evacuation.

• All those completing the course will be issued with a Certificate.
• A full set of Course Notes will be issued to the Manager of those attending.

Notes

This course will not cover fire extinguisher training. A separate course can be arranged for specialist instruction.

For specialist training on extinguisher use, evacuation, smoke or more in depth training we recommend to use a Fire Officer Specialist Trainer.
